There are three main underwriting divisions in the Group; Hiscox International, Hiscox London Market, and Hiscox UK and Europe:
Hiscox International includes Hiscox Bermuda as well as:
- Hiscox Guernsey, which underwrites specialty lines such as kidnap and ransom, terrorism and fine art
- Hiscox USA, which includes an admitted insurer, and a licensed insurance intermediary for admitted and surplus lines business across the US, provides a range of products including errors and omissions, directors and officers, kidnap and ransom and property.
Hiscox London Market underwrites internationally traded (re)insurance business in the London market – generally large or complex business which needs to be shared with other insurers or needs the international licences of Lloyd’s.
Hiscox UK and Europe offer a range of specialist insurance for professionals and business customers, as well as high net worth individuals.
